Xero reconciles Xero. Your clients are on five different systems, half your banks have no feed, and two of them only ever send a PDF. Drop both files in here and get back what matched, what did not, and why.
Get the files in. Match what matches. Account for the rest.

CSV, Excel, MT940/950, even a scanned PDF or a photo of an invoice. Whatever comes in, it normalizes into the same clean transaction shape.
It scores amount, date, reference, and counterparty together, so one typo in a description doesn't throw off the whole match like a simple lookup would.
When something doesn't match, you get a real reason, not just "no match." And every approval is logged: who signed off, when, and why.
Everything on the right runs today. None of it is a roadmap.
The path a file takes, in the order it happens. No badge wall.

Travels over HTTPS. Encrypted at rest from the moment it lands.
CSV, Excel and MT940 are read here and never leave.
Every query carries your workspace id. Nothing reads across tenants.
Reads the figures off a PDF or a photograph, because nothing else reliably can. It does not train on what you send it. Upload structured exports instead and this step never runs.
After all of that, the result is yours. Never sold, never handed to advertisers, never used to train a model. Ask us to remove a workspace and we do, within 30 days. The anonymous demo keeps nothing in the first place.
Including the two answers a sales page would rather not give.
In the sense that it sits on our servers, yes, and any tool you upload to is in the same position. What we do not do is sell it, share it, or train models on it. Support cannot browse your workspace casually, and if we ever needed to look at a record to fix a fault we would ask you first.
You catch it, which is the point of the review queue. Anything below the confidence threshold is put in front of you rather than approved quietly, every match shows the score behind it, and an approval can be undone until you lock the period. The engine is built to hand you the doubtful ones, not to hide them.
No, and it is not trying to. Your ledger stays where it is. You export from it, reconcile here, and bring the result back. Exports are shaped for the system you name when you set up the client.
The matching itself runs in seconds on a normal month of transactions. The time you spend is reviewing what the engine was not sure about, and that depends on how clean the two sides are. A tidy month is minutes. A messy one is still much faster than a spreadsheet.
Export first, then close the account from settings. Cancelling stops future charges and the plan stays available until the period you have paid for ends. Your data is deleted within 30 days after that.
No. It runs in the browser. There is no agent, no bank connection to authorise, and no plugin in your accounting software. You upload files, which is also why it works with a bank that offers no integration at all.
If the one you came with is not here, write to us. A person reads it, and you will not be handed to a sales sequence for asking.
Email supportEverything above this is a description. The demo is the thing itself: put in a bank file and a ledger file, and see which rows it pairs, which it refuses to, and what it says the difference is made of.
Paid plans start at $29 a month. See what each one includes.
